Tulip Time is just around the corner!
In addition to shows by Matt Barber and the Central College Steel Drum Band in our Historic Theatre, we’ll also bring the historic presentation, “The Reluctant Pioneer” featuring Bev Graves into the Great Hall. This one-woman show is an intimate conversation with Maria Scholte, the wife of Pella’s founder, Dominie Hendrik P. Scholte. Tickets for all of these shows are available online under “Shows.”
In addition, tour our Historic Photo display in the Great Hall during the afternoons of Tulip Time. The $5 wristband not only gets you into the Great Hall but also gives you access to our first floor restrooms. Wristbands are for sale at the door of the Pella Opera House.
On the second floor balcony, you’ll find our Martini Huis. Enjoy a specialty martini while watching the Tulip Time activity in the street below. The weather temperature is always perfect at the Pella Opera House Martini Huis. Hope to see you at Tulip Time this year!
