So excited to welcome @paul_sikes back to our stage for Nashville North & if you were at last years show you heard what a talented guy he is lyrically & musically on vocals & the guitar! Nashville native, Paul Sikes has been paving his way through Music City as a songwriter, producer, and musician since 2007, and has grown his career alongside the ever-changing city. He currently is a signed writer with Endurance Music Group.
He co-penned the #1 hit “Make Me Want To” for Stoney Creek recording artist Jimmie Allen, as well as Matt Stell’s #1, “Everywhere But On.” He also co-wrote, produced, and mixed country music legend Clay Walker’s newest release, “Easy Goin’.” He also wrote “Longer Than She Did” on Cody Johnson’s “Human: The Double Album”. A talented and in-demand guitarist, Sikes has toured with Jimmie Allen, Matt Stell, Billy Ray Cyrus and more.
Other artists Paul has collaborated with include Billy Dean, Lorrie Morgan, Mae Estes, Walker County ,The Roads Below, Emerson Drive and more.

Don Sampson … one of our 4 Nashville North hit songwriters to grace our historic stage Oct. 8th! He is such a legend in the songwriting world & as you look at all the artists that have cut his songs you can see what a true craftsman he is with a guitar & pen & many songs you know & love & have sung along with currently & for decades!

Don was born in Washington, D.C. and grew up in Falls Church, VA. But what some may not know is that he also calls “Iowa home”, although never living here, all of his relatives are in the Albia, Lovilia & the Knoxville, Iowa area.
Don was 22 years old, when he moved to Nashville from San Antonio, TX, where he had been playing guitar in the honkytonks. Don signed his first publishing deal in 1985 with New Clarion Music. After various successful publishing deals over the year, he currently is at Me Gusta Music.

Don has won numerous ASCAP awards, seven NSAI awards, and the TNN Music City News Songwriters Award.

Other artists that have recorded Don’s songs include Darius Rucker, Jimmy Wayne, George Jones, Tammy Wynette, Willie Nelson, Kenny Rogers, Bryan White, Kenny Chesney, Josh Turner, George Strait, Tim McGraw, Charlie Daniels, John Conlee, Joe Nichols, and Charlie Pride and more.

Meet another one of our four Nashville North hit songwriters hitting our stage Oct. 8th & check out this Songwriter Spotlight with Blake Pendergrass!
Pendergrass, a Raleigh, North Carolina native moved to Nashville to study
commercial music at Belmont University. At the end of 2020, he earned a coveted spot on Morgan Wallen’s Dangerous:
The Double Album with his smash “865”. He was the only un-signed writer on the 30-song project. Shortly after he signed
his first publishing deal with Back Blocks Music, as their flagship songwriter. Along with the artist cuts above he has also had his songs cut by Ashley Cooke, Lily Rose, and has upcoming cuts
with Kenny Chesney, Morgan Wallen, and Chase Rice.
